Hello crafty friends, and happy Wednesday!

Today is Design Team day at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, and I am so excited to share this gift card slider. You know those teenagers that have everything, and you never quite know what to get them? Yup! I usually end up with gift cards to the movies, iTunes, or something of the sort. So here's what I came up with using the Rock On Cutting Files....

What do you think? Want to try your own?
I found a great tutorial for these little sliders HERE.

Today, the fabulous PPPR designers are bringing you projects that are JUST FOR KIDS using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files. This being my first hop with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, I wanted to play with just about everything...but I had to narrow it down to one or two.

If you're not familiar with my 'style', I LOVE making 3-D items more than anything. So, my first project is a little party favor using my son's favorite superhero, Captain America...

Here's the little treat outside of the box...

For my next project, I wanted to use the little characters from one of our favorite movies, Despicable Me. Yes, minions are for kids...but you know we all secretly love them. Here are the shape cards I made using this super cute file...

You and Coffee are my BFF's - PPPR Design Team Day

I was absolutely honored when Lisa from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons invited me to come on board as one of her Design Team members. Not only are her files super cute, but I am also getting the opportunity to join a very talented group of ladies!

For my project today, I'd like to share a K-Cup caddy I made using the Java Great Day Cutting Files. I have become a bit of a coffee/tea addict (which is a very new concept for me) since I got a Keurig for Christmas. After seeing this cute little box idea a while back, I decided to re-create it in my Silhouette Studio software so I can have a file handy w/out having to print out PDFs. The cute little cup and coffee beans from Pretty Paper Graphics were exactly what I needed to be the "star" of my little gift box!

~ What I used ~
Pretty Paper Graphics - Java Great Day
Peachy Keen Stamps - Sweet on You Face Assortment
Lovebug Creations - Autumn Spice Rumple Ribbon

Want the K-Cup Caddy Silhouette File?
Just follow my blog, then send me an e-mail at txscrappermom (at) hotmail (dot) com letting me what 'name' you're following under and that you would like the file. That's it!!

Thank you for stopping by! Make sure to swing by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to see all the wonderful projects the other DT members have created for you!

Who doesn't love S'mores?!

I love sitting around a campfire in the summer time, but for me, nothing says "s'mores" more than some cold weather, blankets and hot chocolate. So, when I got the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for Lisa @ Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, I knew exactly what I wanted to make!!

Being a teacher, I am always thinking ahead to the next holiday (in this case, Valentine's Day), and what I can make for my students and co-workers. With that said, I made....

Gift boxes for the "big" kids

and goodie bags for the little ones
