July Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Welcome to the July edition of the Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you just hopped over from Shelley Lee Designs, you're in the right place. If you're just stopping by for a visit and would like to hop along (and trust me, you WANT to hop along), go to My Pink Stamper to start at the beginning!

I am so excited about this new release, I can't even stand it! Moo-ey Doodles is soooo cute!!!!!!! Are you loving the DT samples thus far?! Lately I've been focusing on things you can make with or without a die cut machine. I have also been trying to share with all my wonderful followers quick things you can make if you're pressed for time, but still want it "homemade". I love making things myself, but even on vacation, my son, teacher conferences and baking seem to be a full time job in itself. The crafter in me can't seem to be silenced though (*grin*) and I'm hoping to start some bi-weekly tutorials here, as well as on my new baking blog Cupcakes 'N Such.

Ok, I tend to get a little sidetracked.....I looooove these cow prints, don't you?!  The new My Pink Stamper sets are all perfect for any project - complex or simple - and you can't beat the cuteness! Here's my card:

If you love this new set as much as I do, be sure to get yours before they're all gone.....

Thanks for stopping by!
The next stop on the hop is my fellow Texas girl Renee @ I Came, I Saw, I Created

Organizing the kitchen...

I've been needing a place to store sugar and flour in my kitchen for quite some time now...those bags can get quite messy! I finally made a trip to The Container Store, spent $20.00 on two perfectly sized containers....a little vinyl and some cricut later, I got just what I was looking for :)

I get super cheap vinyl HERE

June Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Welcome to the June Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you've just hopped over from Julie @ Ready, Set, Stamp, then you're in the right place. If you're just stopping by for a visit and would like to hop along, head on over to Robyn @ My Pink Stamper to start at the beginning!

Are you loving the new Yankee-Doodles stamp set? I was excited for this set from the moment I got it. My favorite part about the new image stamps is that there is so much you can do with it, even if you don't own a die-cut machine - Cricut, Cameo, etc. I love making cards, but even more, I love trying to tie in my love for crafting with my passion for baking - and these awesome new images have allowed me to do just that!! With that said, I've used Yankee-Doodles to make some cute cupcake toppers for the upcoming holiday....

I'll be sure to post pictures of all the treats after the 4th of July using my toppers, and the ones to come! Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop is wonderful Ms. Karlee @ Karlee Krafts

Be sure to get the new kit before it's gone:

And don't forget to head over to My Pink Stamper at the end of the hop for your chance to win it!!

Pinktastic Special Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pinkstastic Special Release Blog Hop! Are you super excited about the new release?! I know I am!! This is my very first experience working with markers and stamp images, and I couldn't wait to get started. Can I just say I found it very relaxing?? I must also say that I have a lot to learn on coloring, shading, ways to work with the images, etc....and I can't wait!!

Now on to the hop....If you just hopped over from Missy @ Quick Chick Designs, then you're in the right place. If you're just stopping by for a visit and would like to hop along (and you WANT to hop along...trust me!), go to My Pink Stamper to start at the beginning.

I had a lot of fun working with these images....the baker in me specially looooved the cupcake image. The markers are amazing to work with, and the colors are so vibrant. I can't wait to build up my marker collection...and figure out what blending is all about. For our awesome release, I made a tag, and a simple card. I wanted to try to work with the images differently (cutting, and leaving it on a white paper) - again, learning process :)

MPS Design Team Day - Teacher Gifts

Welcome to My Pink Stamper Design Team post day! Today's theme is Teacher appreciation gifts. I was so excited for this project, as a teacher myself, because I had seen something on Pinterest that I've been wanting to make for a while...a gift caddy. Here's how it turned out....

Most Sonic drive-thrus are more than willing to give you one or two drink caddies for free, so I thought this would be an inexpensive way to put a gift together. I added a soda, some sweet treats and and apple (of course) to finish it off. I used My Pink Stamper School Days to make my own "background" paper and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I used My Pink Stamper Yummy-licious for the "to/from" tag. The apple is from the Cricut Preserves cartridge, and the "for my teacher" is from my fave font, Don Juan.

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Welcome to the April edition of the My Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you just hopped over from Renee's at I Came, I Saw, I Created, then you're in the right place! If you're just stopping by for a visit and would like to hop along, go to My Pink Stamper to start at the beginning.

Our theme for today's project is Mother's Day. I was excited to get this card done, because I knew exactly what I wanted to do...and I am even more excited about delivering it to my mother with a cookie bouquet on Mother's Day at her job (thank goodness she never comes to my blog to check out my work, or the surprise would be ruined). For today's project, I made a flower pot, insert card....

All of the patterned paper I used (except the leaves) are from Imagine More Cards, and all flower cuts are from Flower Shoppe - I love this cartridge for flowers!! The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's Hope and Courage stamp set. All I need to do now is add a personalized note, and I'm all set for Mother's Day!

Spring is in the Air

Today is Design Team day at My Pink Stamper, and I'm so excited to finally be getting back in the "groove" with my crafting - I even cleaned my craft room this weekend. I have soooo many ideas I want to make come to life in the next few weeks, and I can't wait to share it with all of you!!

"Spring is in the air" is the theme for today's challenge, which required us to use the colors green, blue and yellow, and a butterfly somewhere in our projects. I made a 4x4 card (with my Gypsy that just arrived, YAY!!!) using sentiments from My Pink Stamper Biggie Punnies, and my Crate a Critter cartridge.....

Thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to check back over the next few weeks for new projects to come...

Hooooray!!!!

Why am I sooo happy?! Well, my gypsy is on it's way back to me!! Woohooo!! Not looking forward to re-downloading all 200+ cartridges, but I can't seem to function without it! :)

So, how have I spent my Spring Break? Baking!! I love making cakes, cupcakes and cookies, but my newest addiction are chocolate-covered oreos. Here are a few I've made over the week. If you'd like to follow my baking, you can "Like" me on facebook at www.facebook.com/CupcakesNSuch :)

The stamps I used for the tags are all from My Pink Stamper collection.
Go check them out!

Bridal Shower Treats

So, while I wait for my new gypsy to come - ohhh the thought of re-downloading 200+ cartridge - I've been doing what I do best (next to crafting, of course): bake! I made these cookie favors and cupcakes for a Bridal Shower. Enjoy!

Welcome to the March Pinkalicious Blog Hop! If you hopped over from Cricut Cuteness, you're in the right place! If you're just stopping by for a visit, and would like to hop along, go to My Pink Stamper to start at the beginning.

Today's challenge was to create anything for St. Patrick's Day, and I knew just the thing!! Last summer, I saw the cuttest Independence Day hat on the Martha Stewart website and have been dying to give it a go. I dug in my pantry, got out a small can of tomato sauce (I'm usually cooking for one and a half - my wonderful two year old - so I have small everything in my pantry). I made it into a Leprechaun hat, and filled it with gold chocolate coins - what's more fitting?! It's a simple project that makes an adorable little gift for St. Patty's Day!!!

The sentiments from My Pink Stamper's Yummy-licious go with just about any occassion, and was the perfect one for this project!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my project!

Recipe Sharing

Hello! And welcome to another My Pink Stamper Design Team day! Our challenge for the month of February was to use as many My Pink Stamper stamps as we could on one project. I had a few ideas in mind, and after playing around with my original creation, I went to my second :).

As most of you know, I absolutely LOVE to bake - it's my second addiction (I mean, umm, passion)! Every time I show up at a get-together or an event with something sweet, it almost never fails, someone asks me for the recipe and I don't know it by heart. I don't know why I never thought of this before, but I made recipe cards to keep in my purse for those occassions that someone just falls in love with my recipes. My Pink Stamper's Yummy-licious set was PERFECT for this idea....

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to swing over to My Pink Stamper and check out all the wonderful creations our designers have in store!

Valetine's Treats and a Gypsy Update

I decided to make some Valetine's treats for my favorite co-workers, because there's nothing like a one-of-a-kind, edible treat! Baking has quickly become an addiction - next to crafting, of course. With taht said, the only thing missing on my little treat bags was a cute, Cricut-made tag with a stamp on it (I'm still having Gypsy withdraws). Here's how the cookies turned out...

Now for a quick Gypsy update....I LOVE ProvoCraft! They had never heard of the weird issued my Gypsy was having, so they are replacing it for me. The only downfall is that it may take a little bit to get it back because I have to send mine to them in order for them to match the numbers so I can re-load all 200+ cartridged - OUCH!!

Superbowl Sweets

I've been meaning to get these posted, and I thought I'd do it before next season starts :). I made these cookies and cupcakes for a Superbowl luncheon we had at school for all the teachers...

Hope you're enjoying all the wonderful projects the My Pink Stamper designers have created so far! I had a cute project for you guys today, but I had a gypsy malfunction...and if any of you are gypsy lovers, you'll understand when I say I haven't crafted without it in over two years. With that said, I need to pull my cartridges out of storage and learn how to use my expression again :)

Be My Valentine!

Good morning fellow crafters! Today's My Pink Stamper Design Team assignment is a to create a Valentine's Day themed project of any kind. I was excited to start getting in a "Valentine's" mode, because I have a few ideas for gift boxes I'll be making in the coming weeks. For today's post, I made a quick card using a sentiment from My Pink Stamper's More Fabulous Phrases as the focus of the card...

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project, and be sure to swing by My Pink Stamper today and wish Robyn a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Fortune Cookie Tutorial

Good morning friends! Many of you asked how I made those adorable fortune cookies, and I wanted to share the tutorial I had used myself to make them. They are SO easy!! Note: Instead of using a glue stick and paper clips, I just used a glue dot :)

January Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Welcome to the January Pinkalicious Blog Hop! You should've hopped over from the every-so-crafty Carissa @ Sprinkled with Glitter. If you're just stopping by for a visit, and you'd like to hop along, head on over to My Pink Stamper to start at the beginning.

Our theme today was Fresh New Beginning to the New Year! I focused more on the "new year" aspect of our theme, as we will be having a Chinese New Year celebration coming up at work. I wanted to make something quick and easy, since I need to make so many of them, but also make it fitting to the celebration. I decided to make fortune cookies to wish everyone luck in the year to come. Here's how the first "batch" turned out....

Here's a close-up...

A vacation, a birthday, and lots of baking...

First and foremost, Happy New Year!! I want to thank all of my wonderful followers who have stuck with me through this absence. with the busy holidays, 4 December birthdays, work and a two year old, I was in dire need of a vacation. Unfortunately, that included crafting as well!

With that said, I'm back!! But before I start sharing paper crafts, I did want to share with you a few pictures of my son's birthday sweets - baking being one of my biggest passions next to crafting! Enjoy!!

His cake...Some cake balls...And some yummy cookies!

Don't forget to stop by tonight for the January Pinkalicious Blog Hop!
