Special Thank You Card

A co-worker wanted a unique thank you card to thank her doctor for the great service he provided throughout her treatment. Here's the card I came up with...fitting, given she was having her wisdom teeth removed :)

Valentine's Day Cupcakes & Winners

Happy Valentine's Day! My co-workers and I were all asked to bring a little Valetine treat to share at work, and needless to say, I wanted to get in a little piping practice...you know what they say - practice makes perfect!! I wanted something sweet to top it off, so I made chocolate candy hearts, and I was actually pleasantly surprised at how easy they were. Yummy!

Blog Candy Winner The winner of the Cooking with Cricut Sweetshop Blog Hop "Rose & I Love You" file (chosen using random.org) is Vivi!

Hearts & Flowers

The theme this week at Cooking with Cricut is Hearts & Flowers, and to be honest, I was a bit stumped. Then I had an idea that would involve both - a heart-shaped, rose bouquet. Many quilled flowers later, here's the final project...

Superbowl Sports Mania Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Sports Mania Blog Hop! If you are here for the Hop, you're in the right place. If you are just swinging by, join in on the fun by visiting Kathryn's Blog to start at the beginning. This is going to be a great event, so be sure to stop by everyone's site to enjoy the amazing new projects they have put together for you before taking off to watch the game.

My Project
I wanted something "manly" - no ribbons, no glitter, just football - but when I came up with the design, I realized I didn't have the 'field' paper I wanted. So, I created one myself by cutting strips of green paper and adhering it to white paper with a gap in between. Here's how it turned out...

As you know, I recently took a cake decorating class and when everyone was asked to bring something to the party, I immediately volunteered some cupcakes - it's good practice, so technically, I was being selfish :). Here's my yummy cupcake (red velvet with cream cheese filling)...

Times 24 (did I mention how hard it was to not eat even ONE?! lol)

Hope you enjoyed my projects and thank you for stopping by!

I must say it was rather nice thinking ahead to Spring, after being snowed in for four days straight. Yup! Texas actually got an ice/snow storm! When I think of Spring, I think of flowers, and that is exactly what I wanted to incorporate into today's project. I hope you like it!

High Heel Invites

I had another order for girly invitations, and I didn't want to just recreate my "Juicy Couture" purses. I gave the client a few different options of designs, prints and colors, and she wanted some heels, zebra print, purple & aqua - these are for a girl's 13th birthday/slumber party/Justin Bieber 3D movie night. This is what I came up with, and suggested they add the movie ticket stading straight up behind the invitation to add something to it.
