A Royal Wedding Celebration

This week at Whimsical Wednesday, we were asked to create a project in celebration of the upcoming royal wedding - is that a fun theme, or what?! I must say I almost feel guilty spending so much time on a project that's going to sit in my craft room, but once the idea popped in my head, I couldn't seem to move past it to work on anything else...I'm sure you've had the feeling :) So here's my project....

  7. Your project is so beautiful. I LOVE the colors you chose. The papers have a beautiful velvity look. Are they a special velvet paper? I love the cake and the way you wrapped the ribbon around it. Any newly engaged or married couple would love to get this masterpiece. Great job with the challenge as always.
