Under the Sea Adventures - with DEE

Hello crafty friends! I hope you've had a wonderful week!

Today is my day at Dilo en EspaƱol and I am sharing a card I made using her new stamp set Bajo el Mar. I wanted to start practicing using my new markers, so I decided to start with smaller stamps, and these little sea animals were perfect for the bright colors I wanted...

I am definitely nowhere near the artistic abilities of my fellow DEE DT members, but I really love the way this card turned out. Not bad for a first colored card, right?! You can check out more pictures at DEE.

Spring is in the Air

Today is Design Team day at My Pink Stamper, and I'm so excited to finally be getting back in the "groove" with my crafting - I even cleaned my craft room this weekend. I have soooo many ideas I want to make come to life in the next few weeks, and I can't wait to share it with all of you!!

"Spring is in the air" is the theme for today's challenge, which required us to use the colors green, blue and yellow, and a butterfly somewhere in our projects. I made a 4x4 card (with my Gypsy that just arrived, YAY!!!) using sentiments from My Pink Stamper Biggie Punnies, and my Crate a Critter cartridge.....

Thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to check back over the next few weeks for new projects to come...

All About the Turkey

I was so honored to be invited to be a guest designer at the Exploring Cricut Challenge Blog today. The challenge this week is to use a turkey in your project, and with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I decided to get to work on a few projects to keep my 23-month-old busy during our feast. I have a few more projects I'd like to get done before Thursday, but it depends on how shopping goes this week :)

I made this little crayon box to hold his colors so he can finish

some more pages in his coloring book.

While I was already working on table decor, I also

decided to make him a little place setting...

Are you ready for Christmas??

I'm not ready either :)...but it is my favorite holiday of the year, and I'm starting to get very excited!!! This year, as a My Pink Stamper designer, I got to participate in a Christmas Card Swap with all the other wonderful ladies on the team! Oh, what fun!!! I mass produced 21 cards - some to exchange, some for donations, using Robyn's (My Pink Stamper) Biggie Christmas stamp set. I LOOOVEE this stamp set because it's the perfect size for your cards inside and out! My goal with the swap was to only use supplies I already had at home...and amazingly enough, I succeeded! :) The best part was getting a big package in the mail with 17 different cards from all the designers! Definitely doing this again!!!!!!

Here's the inside..

Thanks for stopping by! I always LOVE reading your comments! :)

Back 2 School with CJ2

Today is Design Team day at Craft Junkie Too, and we had to make anything "Back 2 School". It's definitely that time of year, when parents are rushing to Walmart last minute to make sure kids are ready for school (because mommy and daddy are definitely ready), and teachers are wondering 'where did summer go?!' I think this might be the first summer I'm almost (notice I said almost) excited that summer is over because it's been over 100 degrees for the better part of my vacation. Back to my project - I took the opportunity to play with my new My Pink Stamper stamp set again (this one is from School Days)! I have to admit that since my little one is not of school age, I make all the things I would love to get for myself lol - sad, I know - but I can put this post-it note to good use!

A Special Whimsical Wednesday

This is a very special week at Whimsical Wednesday. This week, both card teams have come together for our challenge, to make get well cards for a very special little boy. Angelo, who is the grandson of Margie from Bella Bug Creations, is going through a very difficult time right now. He underwent brain surgery last week and will begin chemotherapy next week. You can read more about Angelo at this post over at Margie's blog. We hope that you will all join us and make a card for Angelo too.....

Cele"Bear"ation Blog Hop

Welcome to TxScrapperMom and Cooking With Cricut’s Cele”bear”ation Blog Hop! We’ve been partying all month long in honor of CWC’s first blog-aversary. If you arrived here from Jean’s blog, you’re in the right place! If you’re crashing the party in mid-hop, head on over to Cooking With Cricut — grab some punch and cake and start at the beginning.

Our theme for today’s party is bears and/or celebrations, and I chose to incorporate both. This card took a little bit of work, but it came out just as I had planned (and that doesn't always seem to happen). Here's a little bit of detail: I crumpled triangles for the 'tissue paper' effect, and cut off the ribbon that was part of the original gift box cut to add real ribbon.

Now it's your turn! Link up your cele”bear”ation-related project at CookingWithCricut.com.

Here are the guidelines for the challenge:

- Project must include a Cricut cut.
- Project must include a Bear.
- Project must be new for this blog hop challenge.
- You must link to your post and not just your blog.
- Your post must include a link back to CWC.

You will have one week to complete your project. The Design Team will pick their three favorites and one lucky person will be chosen randomly to win one of the prize packages being offered in this hop.

Thanks for joining our cele"bear"ation! Your next host in our party is Dalis at Stamper Girl!

Here’s the list of the party girls, just in case you lose your way:
