Etched Glasses

This year, as you can see, I've had a lot of fun trying new things and personalizing just about anything and everything! I decided to etch some glasses for the in-laws, and I think I've caught the etching bug!! I love the way they turned out!! (Thanks to my hubby for modeling the glass for me)

Last Minute Gift Card Holders

About 45 minutes before we had to leave the house for our 4th Christmas celebration, hubby says he needs a gift card holder for the two gift cards he bought. Ummmmm... Yeah! Needed something quick...and I mean quick...and simple (especially because you can never forgo taking a picture of the finished product when you're done). Here's how they turned out...

One Direction Shadow Box

I will be taking my  niece to the One Direction concert here in Dallas in August of next year (can't believe how far in advance we had to buy the tickets)! I needed a special Christmas gift for her, and I thought a shadow box to put a picture of us at the concert would be perfect!! I think I might get aunt of the year...or at least the biggest hug ever!! ;)

Christmas Gift Tags

What most inspired me to take the leap from the Cricut to the Silhouette Cameo was the print and cut feature...and I am IN LOVE! Being able to purchase individual SVG's is definitely a plus (no more expensive cartridges just for a few images). With Christmas right around the corner, and having spent way too much time in my craft room in the past few weeks, I needed something quick for my Christmas gifts. I found a great tutorial on Under A Cherry Tree on how to make tags and made a few different designs. My gifts are now wrapped, tagged and under the tree!

Art case...and a little vinyl

When shopping for little girls, you can never go wrong with anything princess. When those little girls turn into pre-teens, it seems to get harder and harder to shop for them! I called my BFF to ask what kind of things her 3rd grade niece is into these days, and she gave me a few options. The teacher in me went for the one that would use the most imagination - art! I found this super cute case at Michaels, but thought it needed "something"...and I LOVE the way it turned out! It definitely made a simple present a bit more personalized. Love me some vinyl!

Some more birthday tags...

I am loving this craft wrapping paper I bought! I can use it for boys, girls, adults and pretty much any occasion!! Giving me that much more need to make personalized tags w/ matching tulle to finish it off (I promise I haven't gone completely crazy - my Christmas paper is still Christmas-y).

We attended a birthday celebration last night, and will have another one today. Here are the cute tags I made to go with the surprises inside...

I couldn't leave out his little classmates, or my students for that matter! Between the two classes I made a total of 36 favor bags for the holiday parties and needed something cute, but simple (with very little piecing and gluing).... with a little print and cut, and some peachy keen face stamps, I found just the right design:

Toy Story Birthday Celebration

We celebrated my little boy's birthday this past weekend with a Toy Story extravaganza!! This was the first year he truly picked a theme HE wanted and stuck to it (and talked about it for months and month), so I was super excited plan all the little details....and I wanted to share them with you (sorry about some of the picture's quality, but when push came to shove, we were running out of time and the pictures were not a priority)....

Secret Santa, Day 2 - Favorite Snack

Popcorn...but I couldn't just top at plain 'ol popcorn! I made some white chocolate popcorn with dark chocolate M&M's and pretzels. YUMMY!!! Now I MUST get it out of the house ASAP because a single recipe filled 5 of these boxes/bags.

Secret Santa, Day 1

It's that time of the year again! I LOVE the holidays because it gives me even more opportunities to craft with a purpose...meaning someone's actually getting what I'm making :). Not that we ever need an excuse to craft, but I do love it when I'm making it for someone, so I signed up to do Secret Santa at school again this year.

Volleyball Light Box

Yesterday was my niece's 13th birthday (I can't believe she's a TEEN!!!!) and I wanted to make something personalized for her - especially because she just tried out for club volleyball and made the team. I've been seeing a lot of Christmas light box projects on Facebook the past few weeks, but wanted to make something that would look great in her room. This was super fun to make, especially because it was my first time cutting vinyl with my Cameo, my first time etching and my first light box project!

My Creative Time 2014 DT Call

I was so excited to hear that Emma at My Creative Time was having a DT Call! I've been an admirer for quite some time, and couldn't wait to enter for a chance to design for her using her amazing products. We had to design a layout, a card and a 3-D project, and I tried to use the few MCT products I had that just arrived from my Black Friday order....Wish me luck!!!

Double Birthday Celebration

My family and I are leaving for a road trip on Friday for a double-birthday celebration for two little ones who are very dear to me (my BFF's kiddoes). Her sweet little girl is turning 5 and her baby boy is turning 2. Since both of their birthdays are around the holiday season, she just decided to take advantage of everyone being in town for Thanksgiving! Smart girl!

I made some personalized tags to go with the themes for the birthday: Princess and Superheroes....

Student Teacher Treats

I welcomed five student teachers into my classroom once a week for the past 6 weeks, and tomorrow is their last day. I wanted to give them a little treat to say "good luck" as they finish their degree, and I got to use A LOT of new goodies (with a little Pinterest inspiration)....

Happy Halloween!

I am all Halloweened out! So many treats in so little time...but I'm sad to be putting away my stamps & digital clipart for the year!

I wanted to put my baking skills to good use and make a little treat for my team at school, and I figured cupcakes were the perfect thing! They're quick to make, and there's a cute way to package them individually. The tags do help :)

Boo Buddy Reveal

Tomorrow is the BIG day! I get to tell my buddy who I am, and find out who's been buying me some of my favorite treats! I wanted something special for the big reveal, so I brought together some of my Boo Buddy's favorite treats from the past few days, and added in her gift card of choice (Sonic) in this nifty door hanger...

Jr. Pre-k Treats

WOW! 3 posts in one day! I've been very busy getting ready for Halloween! Between my school kiddoes and my little man's friends, I've made 60+ favors this year!

My little man attends an amazing daycare, and we always try to do something special for his little friends around the holidays. I made a class set of 22 treat bags (5-6 of each tag design) with a few healthier choices -goldfish, gummies, rice crispy - rather than filling a bag with candy for a bunch of 3-year-olds.

I thought the little monster images and the stamp were so fitting for their age :)

First Grade Classroom Treats

I am part of a special program at our school where our 1st graders get to rotate between teachers/subjects. They love it, and I get to see even more kiddoes daily! That means that in addition to my 16 homeroom kids, I also see 24 other kids in my rotation (from two different teachers) - that's 40 kids per day! I couldn't leave them out, now could I? I made some quick tags for some small, little treat bags using my candy stamps (x 24)...

Homeroom Class Treats

I have 16 first graders in my homeroom, and I wanted to do something special for each one for Halloween - YES! I'm THAT teacher! I made some treat bags using my new clipart (how cute are these images?!). I wanted to use all the colors of Halloween - so I didn't get bored by the last one.

Out of all the treat bags I made, these are definitely my favorite (and I made A LOT)!!

Boo Buddies, Day 1

Every year, I join in the Halloween tradition of Boo Buddies at school, and I couldn't imagine this year being any different (specially with all the new possibilities that comes with the Cameo)! To be honest, I am new to my school and I have no idea who my Boo Buddy is -  I am only a little saddened that I picked a person who is a health nut :)....that means no baking....and I'm a BAKER!! But it'll be fun anyways....

Day 1: Favorite Drink
My Boo Buddy's favorite drink is water...yup! Water! I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of the water bottle for my blog LOL, but here's the cute tag I'm attaching to it (made a few extras for a friend)...
