Now for my project...
I've been looking for reasons to get my Birthday Bash cartridge out and use it for the first time. This was my favorite cut from the cartride, so I wanted to use it in my design.

My Final Cake

This was our "final" project in a 4-week cake class...take into consideration that it's only a 2-hour class, and we learn and do on the spot...so the perfectionist in me had to take a back seat and just let things go - and realize that I need lots of practice to get it to look the way that I want :)

Spellbinders 2nd Round Finals

This is the layout I submitted for the Spellbinders 2nd Round finals - I unforunately didn't make it to the 3rd round, so I wanted to go ahead and share my project with you...it's definitely not my normal, kid-friendly, "cutesy" type of layout I am into, but I figured if I did get on the team, I wouldn't necessarily want to "advertise" for Provo Craft lol. Anyways, it was an honor making it to the finals out of hundreds of entries...so maybe next time!

Birthday Blessings

I've been dying to use some fun stamps I got online a while back, and I thought this week's theme at Cooking with Cricut would be the perfect opportunity. I've also recently discovered twine (and I'm in love!), so I had to find a way to throw it in there.

*I've had A LOT of inquiries about the sentiment stamps - I fell in love with them myself and ordered quite a few of the "funny" ones from Skipping Stones Design.

Flowers - DT Submission

This week at Cooking with Cricut the theme is flowers. A few weeks back, one of the designers on the Cricut Circle Blog made a cut file for beautiful flowers and roses. Needless to say, as soon as I found out the theme this week was flowers, I couldn't wait to give it a try. Here's what I came up with....

My very 1st cake!!!

I decided to take a cake decorating class (because being a pastry chef would be a dream come true, but unless I win the lottery or make it on to the Food Network Channel...it doesnt' necessarily pay the bills :)). Might I add, it's just a dream because I've never actually made anything lol. Anyways, I've really enjoyed the class thus far, and today we got to decorate our first cake and I thought it'd be fun to share it with you all. I do plan on learning the basics and eventually using my Cricut Cake to add the extra "ummph". Here's how it turned out...

Exciting News!!!!

I just had to share some exciting news with you guys...

There was a Design Team call for Spellbinders (yes! Spellbinders) at the end of last year and I decided to enter - with one of my favorite projects. Well, guess what?! I made it to the Round 1 Finals!! I couldn't believe it! Round 2 projects need to be submitted in about 2 weeks, so keep your eyes out for news. My 1st Design Team Submission

I am so very excited to announce that I will be on Cooking With Cricut Design Team! It is such an honor to be a part of such a great group of ladies and I am looking forward to all the fun! This week's challenge at Cooking With Cricut is to create something with a "Snow" theme. Make sure to stop by to see what all the designers have created and join in on the fun!

When it snows, I enjoy sitting by the window with a hot cup of chocolate and a blanket watching the snowflakes fall and reading a book...though life has not been that calm this year since my baby turned 1 and is walking all over the place. Anyways, here's my submission...

My "Couture" Party Favors

These are the "sour cream container" party favors to go with some Juicy Couture invitations I made a while back. I love the see-through, swirly paper because the hershey kisses wrapper are silver and it added to the design!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Challenge
