Dilo en Epañol: Clean & Simple

Happy Friday crafty friends!

Today is my day at Dilo en Epañol and I this week we are showcasing the style "clean and simple". For my little 3 x 3 mini cards, I tried to use embellishments I already had in my craft room.  I also wanted to use the two February release stamp sets I had not yet used this month (Mini a la Moda & Mini Reloj)...and since I wanted to use Spring colors, I also used the little buttlefly stamp I love so much.

*For more pictures of my project, please swing by Say it in Spanish

What I used:
Dilo en Epañol - Vintage, Mini A la Moda & Mini Reloj
SVG Cutting Files - Mini Notecard Bases Set
Jaded Blossom - Flag Die
Lovebug Creations - Princess Party Pink & Ocean View ribbons

I hope you enjoyed my clean & simple mini cards, and if you get a chance,
swing by the blog tomorrow to see the awesome stamps being released in March!

Water you up to?

Do you ever have a project in mind, but you never make it...until the right stamp comes along? That's what happened with me. When I got the opportunity to guest design for Scrappy Moms this month I was ecstatic!!!!!!!...and then it happened...I saw the stamp I wanted to use to make some cute water bottle hang tags that I've been dying to make since I went to a crop....

The Sail Away set is SUPER cute!!!!!
It's got me thinking of summer days....

What do you think of my tag? :)
Swing by to check out this new set and more from Scrappy Moms!

Scoop Yourself a Treat

Hello crafty friends! Today is my very last post as the February's Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files. This month has gone by so fast, but I've had so much fun sharing all of my projects with all of you! Ann's files are so amazing, it's easy to get inspired!!

For my last guest designer post, I'd like to share with you an Easter tag I made for a treat jar. I am wanting to get a head start on Easter treats, instead of waiting until the very last minute, like I did with the Valentine's treats for my 1st grade class... and I'm always looking for a good excuse to use a mason jar!!

What I used:
SVG Cutting File - Short Eared Bunny
Jaded Blossom - Here's the Scoop sentiment,
Treat Tag Die & wooden scoop
LoveBug - Lemonade & Autumn Spice rumple ribbon
Peachy Keen Stamps - The Moodies Face Assortment

"Fashion changes, but style endures" - Coco Chanel

Hello again crafty friends! Today is my day at Dilo en Español!

This week we were asked to create a layout with journaling, Smash or Project Life. I chose to do a layout, but wanted to share a little about how this project came to be...
Like I shared in a previous Dilo en Español, I am trying to use all the stamps in the February Vintage release, and had a project in mind for the 'Vintage' set since I saw this stamp. You know when you get an idea and you can't seem to do anything else? That's what happened with me this week.  I played and played with the pieces, I added and took away stuff, I change colors, etc., until I finally had it exactly how I wanted it.  Then, I had to pic jus the right pictures and I quickly thought of my favorite Puerto Rican who is always very stylish, so I made this for her (and left the journaling blank so she can write something)...

The sentiment was my inspiration for al the little details...

And of course I have to show you the little dresses that I fell in love with. This is my interpretation for a classic (and I automatically think of Audrey Hepburn).

This is more of a 70's style, right??
Imagine it with green boot. Go-go Girls?

And this one is more  of an updated “sexy” for a girl's night out :)
I used dry embossing for the zebra print.

This is the stamp set I used:

I would love to hear what you thought of my layout!
Have a wonderful Friday and don't forget to participate in the challenge.

Dance in the Rain

Hello again crafty friends! This is my 3rd week as a Guest Designer for SVG Cutting Files. Can I just say that with all of the files coming out on a weekly basis, my wish list is getting longer and longer? :)

Today I'd like to share a shape card I made using one of the cute little girls from Let It Rain. I couldn't wait to add some Spring colors to this fun cut - I am all iced/snowed out for the season. How about you? Isn't she precious?!

I will see you next Sunday for my final weekend as a Guest Designer!

My Heart Belongs to You

I made some cute lollipop holders for my 1st grade class for Valentine's Day. I know they probably rip right through the paper to get to the treat, but I loved making them just the same.

Scrappy Moms February Release

Good morning Crafty friends! I am so excited to get the opportunity to join the talented ladies of the Scrappy Moms design team for this month's release!! I had soooo many projects in mind when I saw these sets, and it truly was hard picking just one.....so I picked two....that way I could use one stamp from each one of these awesome new sets...

My first project is a Tag/Gift Card holder
using a sentiment from the Sail Away set....

 Here's an inside look...
 Recipe:
Scrappy Moms - Sail Away
Silhouette Online Store - Tag/Gift Card Holder
Mickey & Friend Cricut cartridge - Anchor
Peachy Keen Stamps - Sweet On You Face Assortments

My second project is a hot air balloon treat box I designed with a Baby Shower in mind (keep reading to see how you can get the file!!). Being a hard core Dr. Seuss fan, I was immediately drawn to the sentiment I used here from Ready, Set, Go!

Simple Card with DEE

¡Hola chicas!

Valentine's Day Treat Box

Hello crafty friends!
(Para leer este post en español, por favor visite Dilo en Español)

Today I want to share a Valentine's Day box I made with the new vintage release from Dilo en Español so you can see that your projects can have a different style other than just 'vintage'.
Here is my box and kisses...
And one of the closed box…

In this picture, I'm showing you my first experience with heat embossing. I still need a lot of practice, but I love the elevated effect and the shine the embossing powder gave the key and the heart.  The sentiment is super sweet and perfect for my Valentine's project!
I hope you enjoyed my project!

Bee Happy

I am so excited to be a guest designer for SVG Cutting Files for he month of February! Annie's wonderful designs are what led me to take a leap from my Cricut to a Silhouette Cameo, and I couldn't be happier!

For my first post, I  have a cute little treat box that would brighten anyone's day...and I had so much fun making it! I wanted to make something with the Mini Nugget Platform Bases since it was released, and I thought the sweet little bumble bee and the honeycomb accents from Cute as Can Bee would be perfect for this Spring project!

The only thing missing was the "perfect" stamps...so I had to improvise and do it the old fashion way. Yup! I cut out letters and adhered them to my favorite Jaded Blossom banner die.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to come back next Sunday to see a new creation using SVG Cutting Files.
