Now on to my project....

As soon as I found out I was going to be participating in the hop, the design for this card automatically came to my mind and I went with it. Amazingly enough, what I had in mind is what came out on paper (how often does that happen?! lol). I used Simply Charmed for the bottle and glasses and Don Juan for the 2011 title. The cloud was welded together with some rectangle in order to give it the "exploding-out-of-the-bottle" look. Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop will be Cassie at Scrappin' Palce

Expression Dust Cover

My mother made this for me as a gift, and I liked it so much, now I'm trying to talk her into making a matching one for my new sewing machine!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

I made this for my 12 year old nephew. It's my favorite gift card holder thus far! You can find the directions on how to make this HERE

Christmas Cards Gallore

My Christmas cards are finally done (as of yesterday morning)! Talk about a last-minute Christmas! Here are the cards I made for the family to go with their gifts...

A Toy Story Christmas

I am SO behind on Christmas cards...and I will admitt there's a part of me wanting to buy a cheap box at the store and giving it to everyone with their gifts...but I won't! Promise! I did have to finish at least one to give to my assistant at work before we left for the Christmas break. She LOVES the little aliens from Toy Story, so I made them "holidayish" (is that a word?! lol).

M&M Treats

I wanted to make something simple and cute for my kids at school, and since I had some 1x8 baggies left over from my little one's birthday party favors, I thought it would make the perfect little gift. I added a start and a cute little face from Peachy Keen Stamps...

Sock Ice Cream Cone Tutorial

I don't think I realized these would be such a big hit, but
since I thought it was such a cute idea, I did my very
first picture tutorial on it. Here we go...

Grab some cute toe socks...
Roll one sock from the toe up...
And neatly tuck into the outside part of the
sock that folds down...
Bend your rolled up sock in half and insert it
into the top part of sock #2...This is what it should look like... Place adhesive on right edge (I used my ATG gun) of an
8 1/2 x 11" piece of cadstock, and roll it into a cone
shape. There is no right or wrong size, but keep in mind
the socks are thick - so make your opening big enough...
To make a clean-cut, straight edge, just grap some
scissors and cut to desired height...
Place your sock inside the cone...
Add some "sprinkles" and a cherry....
And finish it off by rolling your cone with some
cellophane paper and add ribbon...

Sock Ice Cream Cone

I got an order for a sock cupcake at work, but my co-worker wanted particular socks for her DD. After playing around with the socks for two days - trying to figure out how to fold them and get them to fit a pretty cupcake cut - I finally gave up. Then and idea popped into my head...why not an ice cream cone?! The sock would hang down into the cone and it would still look like a "sweet". Here's how it turned out...

It's sure to be couture!

I had an order for ten invitations for a girl's 13th birthday party. Her mother, a collegue, says her daughter would love to have a Juicy purse - so this is what I came up with for her invites. I think they came out adorable!!

Mickey Mouse Invitations

I can't believe my little man is already turning ONE!!! The them of his party is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and there are the invitations I made for it. I think they turned out really cute, and everyone loved them. I ultimately wanted to sew the pockets instead of just stiching, and wanted buttons for the yellow circles, but I was running a bit short on time...for shopping trips to M's and HL especially :). Everyone loved them though! Pictures of the party to follow!

Baby Shower

I had a friend's baby shower to attend this past weekend, and threw together this shape card for her. I hid the rubber ducky on the onesie using my Gypsy, and added the airplane. She loved it!

Thanksgiving Table Decor

A co-worker asked me to make something decorative for her Thanksgiving table, so I made her a sleeve for her silverware and a sign for the table. I couldn't find the correct size scallop punch, so I just designed the whole sleeve on my Gypsy, and cut it out individually.

Craft Show Project #4: Magnetic Boards

I made a simple, 5 X 7 girly one, but sold it as "made-to-order" with a theme of choice. I got a few special orders out of this one (I don't remember what carts the heart and stars are from).

Craft Show Project #3 : Sour Cream Containers

These are the example sour cream containers I made. Amazingly enough, I got an order for 100 of them (with a different theme) at my first show. I can't believe it!
